Who can use Vilitra 20 mg?
No significant interactions were observed with simultaneous administration of sildenafil (50 mg) and tolbutamide (250 mg) or warfarin (40 mg), which are metabolized by CYP2C9.
Tadalafil (20 mg) did not extend the bleeding time caused by acetylsalicylic acid (150 mg).
Vilitra (20 mg) Potenza hypotensive effect of alcohol in healthy volunteers with an average maximum level of ethanol in blood is 80 mg/DL.
In patients who used sildenafil, there were no differences in the profile of side effects compared with placebo, while the use of such classes of antihypertensive drugs as diuretics, β-adrenoceptor blockers, ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II antagonists, antihypertensive drugs (vasodilators and Central action), adrenergic neuron blockers, calcium channel blockers and α-adrenoceptor blockers. In a special study of the interaction with the simultaneous use of sildenafil (100 mg) and amlodipine in patients with hypertension, there was an additional decrease in systolic blood pressure in the supine position by 8 mm Hg. the Corresponding decrease in diastolic blood pressure was 7 mm Hg.in magnitude, these additional reductions in blood pressure were comparable to those observed when using only sildenafil in healthy volunteers (see section “Pharmacological properties”).

Where the ED drug should be stored?
In healthy male volunteers, the use of sildenafil in an equilibrium state (80 mg three times a day) led to an increase in AUC and Cmax bosentan (125 mg twice a day) by 49.8% and 42%, respectively.
Prior to therapy should collect medical history of the patient and conduct a physical examination to diagnose erectile dysfunction and determine its possible causes.
Risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Since sexual activity is accompanied by a certain risk on the part of the heart, before any treatment of erectile dysfunction, the doctor should assess the state of the patient’s cardiovascular system. Sildenafil has a vasodilator effect, which is manifested by a slight and short-term decrease in blood pressure (see section “Tadalafil“). Before prescribing sildenafil, the doctor should carefully weigh whether such an effect can adversely affect patients with certain major diseases, especially in combination with sexual activity. Patients with increased sensitivity to vasodilators include patients with left ventricular excretory tract obstruction (for example, aortic stenosis, hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy) and patients with rare multisystemic atrophy syndrome, one of the manifestations of which is a severe violation of blood pressure regulation by the autonomic nervous system.
What happens when nitrates combine with the drug?
In the post-marketing period have reported serious adverse reactions from the cardiovascular system, including myocardial infarction, unstable angina, sudden cardiac death, ventricular arrhythmia, cerebrovascular hemorrhage, transient ischemic attack, hypertension and hypotension, which coincided with the drug Viagra®. Most patients, but not all, had risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Many of these adverse reactions were observed during or immediately after sexual intercourse and only a few occurred shortly after the use of Viagra® without sexual activity. Therefore, it is impossible to determine whether the development of such adverse reactions is directly related to risk factors, or their development is due to other factors.
Will I suffer from side effects when using Vilitra 20 mg?
Priapism. Agents for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, including Vilitra, should be used with caution in patients with anatomical deformities of the penis (such as angulation, cavernous fibrosis or Peyronie’s disease) or in patients with conditions that contribute to the development of priapism (such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma or leukemia).
What is the difference between Vilitra 20 mg and Sildenafil?
After the release of the drug on the market reported cases extended erection priapism. If the erection lasts more than 4 hours, patients should seek medical attention immediately. In the absence of immediate treatment, priapism can lead to damage to the tissues of the penis and to a steady loss of potency.
Concomitant use with other PDE5 inhibitors or other drugs for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The safety and efficacy of concomitant use of sildenafil with other PDE5 inhibitors or other drugs for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension containing sildenafil (eg Revacio), or with other drugs for the treatment of erectile dysfunction has not been studied. Therefore, the use of such combinations is not recommended.
Influence on vision. Spontaneous reports of visual impairment have been associated with the use of sildenafil and other PDE5 inhibitors (see “Adverse reactions”). Cases of non-arterial anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, which is a rare condition, have been spontaneously reported and reported in an observational study associated with the use of sildenafil and other PDE5 inhibitors (see section “Adverse reactions”). Patients should be warned that in case of sudden visual impairment use of Viagra® should be discontinued and seek medical advice immediately (see. section “Contraindications”).
Concomitant use with ritonavir. Simultaneous use of sildenafil and ritonavir is not recommended (see section “Interaction with other drugs and other types of interactions”).
Vilitra 20 mg contraindications
The simultaneous use with blockers of α-adrenergic receptors. Patients who use α-adrenoceptor blockers, sildenafil should be used with caution, since this combination can lead to symptomatic hypotension in some patients predisposed to this. Symptomatic hypotension usually occurs within 4 hours after the use of sildenafil. In order to minimize the possible development of postural hypotension in patients who use α-adrenoceptor blockers, their condition must be stabilized with α-adrenoceptor blockers before the use of sildenafil. You should also consider the use of an initial dose of 25 mg (see section “Method of application and dose”). In addition, patients should be informed how to act in case of symptoms of orthostatic hypotension.
Effect on bleeding. Human platelet studies have shown that in vitro sildenafil potentiates the antiplatelet effects of sodium nitroprusside. There is no information about the safety of sildenafil in patients with bleeding disorders or acute peptic ulcer. Thus, the use of sildenafil by Vilitra patients in this group is possible only after a careful assessment of the benefit-risk ratio.

Film shell tablets contains lactose. Viagra® should not be used in men with such rare hereditary disorders as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
After administration of a dose of 100 mg by healthy volunteers there was no effect on the morphology or motility of sperm (see section “Pharmacodynamics”).
Hearing loss. Doctors should advise patients to discontinue USE of PDE5 inhibitors, including Viagra®, and seek immediate medical attention in the event of sudden hearing loss or impairment. These phenomena, which may also be accompanied by tinnitus and dizziness, have been reported with Association in time with the use of PDE5 inhibitors, including Viagra®. It is impossible to determine whether these phenomena are directly related to THE use of PDE5 inhibitors or to other factors.
The simultaneous use of antihypertensive drugs. Viagra® has a systemic vasodilator effect and can further reduce blood pressure in patients who use antihypertensive drugs. In a separate study of drug interaction, the simultaneous use of amlodipine (5 mg or 10 mg) and Viagra® (100 mg) orally observed an average additional decrease in systolic pressure by 8 mm Hg. St. diastolic-7 mm Hg. art.
Sexually transmitted diseases. The use of Viagra® does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Consideration should be given to informing patients of the necessary measures to protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including the human immunodeficiency virus.
Use during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Is Vilitra 20 mg for women and children too?
The ability to influence the reaction rate when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.
Studies of the effect of the drug on the ability to drive vehicles and work with other mechanisms have not been conducted. As in clinical studies of sildenafil reported cases of dizziness and visual disturbances, before you get behind the wheel of a vehicle or work with mechanisms, patients need to find out what their individual reaction to the use of Viagra®.
Dosage and administration
The drug is administered orally.
